We organise school meals and, in emergencies, direct food support for households affected by HIV, chronic illness or sudden loss — grain, oil and staples delivered to the family.
Working with the Jimma Town Health Office and kebele health extension workers, we refer children and caregivers for HIV testing and treatment, cover medical and transport costs for the destitute, and link pregnant mothers to antenatal and safe-delivery services.
Hygiene and nutrition education for caregivers, sanitary pads for adolescent girls and immunisation follow-up round out the programme.
